Public bug reported:
On the PowerPC edgy livecd (for Kubuntu in this case), the
install/pegasos script points to install/powerpc/vmlinuz-chrp.initrd
which is missing. I tried booting the kernels in casper/powerpc by hand
to no avail.
Cheers!

Well, I don't mind it not being on the cd if there is another place
that it is available. If that is the case they should at least remove
the menu from the cd. :)
I did try the alternative cd and it didn't boot up, so maybe I'll try
the DVD.
Thanks!

When amarok starts, the playlist window is displayed but frozen
(sometimes the entire display gets drawn, sometimes just artifacts).
I
skipped my mind to port the output of the app itself, sorry:

Feel free to close this bug out.. It is a bit out of date and PowerPC
has fallen off of the officially supported list, so I don't want this to
hold anything up.

fwiw, as someone noted in the forum thread if you add a few
subdirectories at a time and rescan the collection you can eventually
get it all. But when doing one massive directory across a samba share
it chokes with that taglib error.
I can replicate this problem in ppc64, and the samba share is 3
I didn't have this problem in Gentoo either.. It has been ubuntu
specific from what I can tell.
