Hi I'm using Ubuntu Studio 8.10 updated (running Gnome 2.24.1 and kernel
2.6.27-11-generic, GCC 4.3.2, Xorg 1.5.2) and GNUsound causes the same
"logout" issue. PC is an older P4 32 bit , 2Gb RAM and plenty of HDD
space, Graphics is onboard intel - 82865G chip. Have looked in logs but
cannot find r

I have since reworked the PC and not used GNU sound since.
If I get the chance in the next few days I'll fire it up and see what
happens and try to get more info if able
