On jaunty, installing linux-restricted-modules did not help at all. I had to
install it by myself.
The next issue after installing it by hand was that there were no B channels
listed as active:

Trying to introduce a cousin of mine to use the shell to work with git
and latex on some school documents, I found it really hard to make him

According to the getmail mailing lis, this bug has been fixed in 4.32.

After upgrading from 12.10 to 13.04, my Macbook Air does not detect my
TV connected via HDMI and the HDMI-Displayport adapter. HDMI worked fine
on 12.10.
dmesg does not show any signs that anything happened at all when I plug
in the HDMI adapter.

The HDMI adapter seems to be broken. It does not work in MacOSX at all,
so it's probably just broken somehow. Sorry.

I narrowed the issue down to gnome-panel:
1. suspend and hibernate works when CIFS drives are mounted
2. suspend and hibernate do not work when a CIFS drive is mounted that is
target of a nautilus bookmark. As soon as this drive is unmounted - and
gnome-panel does not show the bookmark in the pla
The problem still exists on 11.10.
