Since easytag worked for some time and it doesn't anymore (the above
crash is reproducible with different albums, .mp3, .ogg, .flac alike) i
experimented a little and found out that it doesn't happen anymore, when
i delete my ~/.easytag directory.
I have a backup of the problematic ~/.easytag. If

I just saw that this bug would be hidden from the default bug listing
when searching, so i won't mark is as a duplicate, since this bug is
much easier to find than the other one since it says something about the
symptoms, not the cause.

Tony, i tried that, but it is not possible to specify how many extents
to move. I tried pvmove, Ctrl+C, pvmove --abort but this reverts the
move unless there was already a lot of data moved.

2.0.3-6dapper3 worked for me as well. but when i marked the packages for
upgrade, synaptic resisted on removing the ubuntu-desktop meta-package.
reinstalling ubuntu-desktop afterwards worked (without (de-)installation
of any dependencies).

i use the following workaround. when jigdo got all the files that are still
available i rename the .iso.tmp to .iso and i download the .torrent.
then i start btdownloadcurses.bittornado ubuntu-xxx.torren
Yes it's still an issue. And it's the same for Ubuntu 6.10, 7.04, 7.10, 8.04.
If i want to have several installs of Ubuntu on the same machine, I have to fix
menu.lst after every install and every kernel-upgrade.

These are my partition tables, they seem to be perfectly OK:
