and sometimes actually resumes. Currently I'd guess it's a 50/50 chance

Tried with the current Gutsy Live CD, and couldn't provoke the system to
lock up when connection ~ 4 times with the replicator.
I'll try the Feisty Live CD later today.
One note: from the restricted drivers manager I saw that the binary
NVIDIA drivers aren't used on the LiveCD.

We had a similar incident, but our upgrade path was different. We're
also using Ceph (Hammwer, 0.94.7)
We updated from 4.1.16 (Gentoo) to 4.4.27 (Gentoo). After updating
multiple servers they came up fine. However, after around 30 minutes,
multiple OSDs on multiple Hosts exposed the same problem.
For future reference, I checked all kernels up to 4.9rc6.

A while ago (probably about 2-3 weeks) Ubuntu 12.04 stopped entering
suspend mode when closing the desktop lid.
The system stays as-is at the moment and remains completely usable. When
selecting 'suspend' from the system menu it suspends correctly and later
wakes up as well.

Ah. I just realized how the update mechanism for the NVIDIA driver is
structured. I'll try the current/post-release updates now. Have been on
280 since the 11.10 release I guess.

The updates I applied this morning caused my key-binding (and also some
CCSM settings) to go back to default. I have seen this happen a few
times before. Is this systematical or even on purpose?

I remember something in 11.04 when unity was introduced. I remember
manipulating that whitelist to allow older programs to appear and to
work around a bug that kept the icons' menus appear except when clicking
twice.

I just updated to oneiric and see a similar problem to #813343.
When either resuming or turning on two monitors with twinview (one works
fine) I get garbage.
When trying to enable twinview I can still see the mouse and with a bit
of luck get one monitor working again. Two do

I just noticed that the unity UI is still visible at this stage and I
can press the window key and interact with unity. However, all windows
are just displaying garbage but seem to work fine. Might be a compiz
issue?

After I updated to 11.10 I now also have two icons in my panel. They
seem to be a little bit different (the left one I can't click on and it
looks a little smaller than the "real" one). Also, both symbols display
the battery as empty all the time (red battery symbol).

After the update to oneiric the gnome-terminal appears to be slow and
display is sometimes buggy:
* changing between windows and tabs is slow although other applications (like
chromium) are not affected
