I tested this with a fresh Hardy installation.
I started Evolution, set up a local Calendar and added a appointment and
a alarm, but nothing happens. It doesn't remember me.
This sucks, because I have the same problem on 3 other Ubuntu machines
with 8.04. Normally i'm using the Calendar the whole

I just dropped a Icon on my desktop with "gksu /etc/init.d/alsa restart"
and this is a workaround which isn't as bad.
But would be nice if this got's fixed with the next update cycle...

If I add a repeating appointment with evolution on my CalDav-Calendar, it adds
it, everything OK.
If I say that on some days should not repeat, evolution dont show the
appointment anymore. Its lost.
I use DAViCAL Server in the newest version.
CalDav Calendars work here with the "Realy Simple Caldav Store" which is
now renamed to "DAViCAL Server" fine :)

I just want transfer a directory with ~ 30 files in there from a FTP
Server.
Just copy the folder and drop it in my home directory dont work.
The error message is "Datei nicht verfügbar". Its german and means "file
not accessable".
When I copy the files by hand, it works.
I just want transfer 20mb files in a directory via Nautilus from a FTP Server.
If I copy 10 files in one step, after 1 or 2 files the copy window "hangs",
nothing happens... the transfer "hangs"...
Maybe the same bug, or a new one?

After a suspend i must kill pulseaudio, because its blocking my audio
device... Sound looks like its playing, but I cant hear anything..
then I reload my soundmodule:
rmmod snd_intel8x0
modprobe snd_intel8x0
and then I restart pulseaudio.
Voila, sound is working again.
