It's true that this bug report is not the first of its' kind on here and
has been reported elsewhere.
The problem is this:
System boots fine, I get sound, video, hard drives, USB support works
fine, ethernet works great, WLan works good, CPU frequency stepping
works good. BU
I'm a sucker for punishment so I looked around for a document that gave
me every possible command line parameter that I could pass to the Kernel
(Why is it that the 2.6.20 kernel is still saying to pass pci parameter
over the command line when I read that those don't work any more with
Kernel 2+ a
I don't know why or how or anything like that but after passing the
acpi_fake_ecdt parameter just one time BOTH of my AMD processor laptops
have complete fan control.
Problem solved? For me yes.
