GNOME->System->Administration->Hardware Drivers.

Just to add to this that I've just installed 8.10 and the dinovo
mouse/keyboard work fine (after pressing the appropriate connect
buttons).
My only gripe is that there is a very bad lag on the mouse pointer - it
slowly follows the physical mouse, requiring the hand to always
compensate.

I've just spent a little more time trying to work out what the issue is.
I had a pretty loaded machine a couple of days ago.
I've booted up. I have two mice attached to the machine, one dinovo the
other a usb mouse. The usb mouse works fine and fast. The dinovo mouse
exhibits the following:

disappeared - not too sure what to put it down to. It's a big machine
with dualcore, so it can't be processing power.

I did not realize this was a bug. I always had my virtual consoles at
VGA quality, not realizing that higher resolutions were possible, until
I experimented with different distros. When I started messing with
vga=XXX I got the blank screens.

Debugging the libblkid revealed that the probe functions detects two
filesystem magics on the device.

servers - finally done this only to discover that eth0 is UP but not
RUNNING.
All the servers have static IPs.
I have tried removing "interface-mtu" from /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf - no

I have two ethernet ports at the back of the machine - port1 which is
eth0 and port2 which is eth1. By accident this morning I connected the
lan cable to the wrong port (port2 instead of port1) to continue this
