Problem seems to be fixed in Version 2.4.1. Have been working with M$
Products the last days, but after getting email about this thread
updated ubuntu and everything's working fine now!

The Problem i have encountered is, that during working with Calc the
focus is set to the menu bar, every 20-60 seconds. Just editing some
Cell and Woops its beeping, because focus has changed to menu bar...
