Running update-manager and after installing something, running top
yields this:

This seems as if update-manger itself is only using 21MiB. I have been
measuring memory usage with system-monitor in the past, which isn't good
for this as it doesn't display the memory usa
I just did this (pmap) and found this line (fairly near the top):

That is a large amount of memory being used, but I am not sure if it
indicates anything useful.

The GNOME HIG says [1] that progress windows should have the same title
text as the primary text in the window. The "Uploading problem
information" window has "Apport" as its title, this should be "Uploading
problem information".

publish-calendar.glade is in /usr/share/evolution/2.12/glade, not the
expected /lib/evolution/2.12/plugins. It appears as if [1] broke this.

When closing the lid of the Inspiron 6400n, the backlight goes off.
However, after 2 seconds, the display comes back on.
This is with Gutsy, Feisty used to work.

Upstream's desktop.in.in has always had name set to "GNU Image
Manipulation Program". The patch 03_gimp.desktop.in.in.patch modified
this to be "GIMP Image Editor". This patch seems to have been dropped by
mistake in Hardy (the changelog mentions it being applied).
