When i boot on Jaunty, my computer is very long because it seems to be
an error with usb. This is the same thing when i shudown.
It takes about 1 or 2 minutes long...
No problem with Hardy.

This phase (migration from 2204 to 2404) took about 3 hours on my recent laptop
(ThinkPad x13). Maybe because I have LaTeX installed?
I noticed that not all the processor's power was being used.
Only one core is running at 100%, and this changes regularly.
Perhaps some work on that front?

After using OpenVPN in a live environment and installing Ubuntu, the VPN
settings are saved after reboot into the newly installed system.
Trying to enable the VPN afterwards results in the error
"Could not find VPN plugin service for

FYI - the cause of the problem was a typo in the file. There was a "-"
where there was supposed to be a "=".
For example, having an entry with:
would cause pidgin to sefault while importing the list.
The correct line should read:

I'm trying to import an XML file that I've updated by hand. I'm not
sure if there's a problem with the file, but pidgin segfaults when I try
to import it. It should only spit out an error if there's something
wrong with my file. I've seen this same problem in Windows.
