I checked, and sure enough, I am booting into the old kernel from 9.05. But grub doesn't list the new kernel. I went in and changed menu.lst and nothing I do seems to have any effect on what is display at boot time. I can edit the kernel name to boot, and boot into 2.6.31-14-generic, but a few seco
