I was unable to reproduce this bug on 12.04 and 13.04 and found a
working man page.

You appear to be running a outdated version of ubuntuone-control-panel
do you have proposed updates enabled under update settings? If not could
you enable it and do a full update/upgrade?

Upstream confirmed the bug and said the following "This should be fixed
in 6.12.42 or better." however the problem is Ubuntu is using a version
lower then that so the bug still exists.
Any possibility of bumping up to 6.12.42 or better.
