I can confirm the bug occurs much more frequently when moving to a
desktop on which Eclipse (or Aptana which is based on Eclipse) is the
window which should have focussed. It happens about 50% of the time and
can usually be resolved by switching back to a different desktop then
back to the desktop
I have uploaded a crash report for this bug. I am able to replicate both
by holding down the DEL button, and also by pressing the DEL button in
rapid succession. When doing the latter, it often fails on the 3rd or
4th file

I'd like to correct an earlier post I made, unfortunately suspend/resume
does *not* work flawlessly in Mint 11. It seems to fail less frequently
than in 11.10 or 11.04, but it still fails often enough to be a major
irritant. Failure rates on Mint 12 seem to be identical to 11.10.

I built kernel 3.6.9 using the attached .config on December 8th and
suspend/resume has consistently worked for me ever since. That said, I
have noticed some X related issues that seem to be related to dual
monitors. If I have been using a 2nd monitor (plugged in via HDML -
haven't tried with VGA)
Updated to that BIOS a long time ago, with no noticeable change from a
suspend/resume perspective.
Short-term testing isn't of much value given the nature of the problem,
but I'll see what I can do about the Raring testing.

Yes, I've finally had a chance to check the model=thinkpad option and
can confirm it works (obvious, really, given this is a thinkpad model

using smbfs mounted in /media/remotedrive. Nautilus fails to respond
when the network becomes unavailable.

This is happening to me as well. I am running Ubuntu 10,10 and have two
monitors utilizing Xinerama. The primary is running Intel and the
secondary is a Tritton USB SVGA Adapter. It typically freezes between
one to three times a day. I use Ctrl-Alt-SysRq with S+U+B to restart.

double click titlebar.
doing 'metacity --replace' brings correct behaviour, the windows
maximise only vertically. Doing 'compiz --replace' makes windows
maximise normally - not vertically.

The action for double clicking the titlebar has been set since Ubuntu
version 8.04 to toggle maximize window vertically - so that it doesn't
take up the whole width of the screen when maximizing.
With Natty, however, this function works perfectly

Actually 'fresh install' is not entirely true. Initially, I upgraded and
had a problem (viz certain NVidia packages failed to install, but showed
up as installed in Synaptic) - so I used the liveCD to repeat the
process (same result) and then removed and reinstalled Nvidia drivers...
Thus many set
Since 11.04, I haven't seen the problem again.
