4.8.6 kernel.. 4/5 times upon booting I have to unload & reload b43

I have the same problem on an X220T, whose screen can flip into a tablet
mode. The touchscreen works great for everything until I want to type
something. In Gnome Shell, anytime I select a text field with the

upon first reboot with latest upstream kernel 4.8.6 - the wifi failed.
Had to unload/reload b43 twice (`modeprobe -r b43 bcma && modeprobe
b43`) before it picked up.

I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.10, postgresql 9.4.1 and pgadmin
1.18.1. I tried disabling IBus but it made no difference. I still have
the unresponsive text entry problem. No other app that I'm using was
having the problem before or after disabling IBus.

I have to modify my previous comment: After rebooting my system and
logging back in, the disabling IBUS workaround appears to work.

As the attached screenshoot shows, thunderbird and/or the lighting
extension is not able to display its calendar data. Most of the time it
even fails to display the logos of the calendar and todo list tab. As
you may guess, I need this feature to do my work. So I would be quit

Well, I was able to get a patch that allows it to build, but it doesn't
scan for networks.

I don't know what would be required to fix this, but I think the patch
breaks it. Or something.

Well, I was able to get a patch that allows it to build and it works in
3.10.7 on Gentoo. I'd venture to say it probably works in other distros
too. It's in comment #27.

I can confirm that this is an issue on the MacBook Air 4,2 Mid 2011.
Also seems to be an issue with any trackpad that supports multitouch and
has no click buttons, but a click pad. This is the reason I still don't
use ubuntu on my Mac. Please take this into consideration and add thumb
support and m

Well, I couldn't get the screenshot, the print screen key did nothing when I
