Yes it is reproducible, it happens every time I use empathy.
The status icon would normally look like screenshot-1. After I start empathy it
changes to screenshot-2 and it stays like that as long as empathy is activated.
After I quit [Chat>Quit from the Contacts list window] the icon changes to

I fixed it this way on both 12.04 and 14.04 and i think this also the
correct fix
chmod a+x /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90gpg-agent
Check ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf
If not create it and add on one line:

time it worked. The only difference is that on the first time I

Yes. I repeated the process by throwing in a bunch of files in the
Desktop (Lucid), changed to 'Default zoom level' to %66 and got a
similar result. As you can see from the attached screenshot, the

comment is that I am clicking on the 'Send Report' button, as in the last
screenshot, but for some reason the report is not getting attached to this bug.

I started facing this issue yesterday. I'm using a fully updated Lucid. Since I
started using Lucid I've had issues with icons in the panels not being rendered
properly [See attached screenshot1 and screenshot2]. It happens occasionally on
reboot, maybe once every 4 or 5 restarts.
