When a directory tree is moved to the trash, which has folder in it, for
that I have no writing rights, I can't empty my trash anyone.
I always have to delete my ~/.locale/share/Trash folder as root, to
bypass this.

Permis
If something is moved to MY trash, nautilus should change the
permissions and restore, if the file is restored.
If that's impossible, Nautilus shouldn't accept moving trees to the
trash, that have unwritable directories in it.

When a File on a FAT filesystem is read-only, it's is read only for
owner, group and others in linux. But when I try to use nautilus to
change it, it does not work, so I have to go to the terminal, which is
getting on my nerves. By the way, I'm u

bug. And no, it's nothing for the wishlist. Its something that doesnt
work.

Sorry, I don't know more about this bug than I already posted. Create a
FAT32 file system, set a file read-only, mount the file system with the
parameters given in my first post (they should be okay I think), and try
to set the file writeable with nautilus.

The Totem xine plugins don't work in opera. opera -debugplugins says,
that the plugin failed and I see only a gray rectacle. This Problem
seems to affect only the xine version of totem and doesn't occur in
firefox.

a file is set read only in the filesystem, it is also write protected
with linux for all users. This especialy happens to the "My Documents"

It is completely normal that X will exit on distribution upgrades. You
should never Upgrade a Linux system while running X! The normal way is
to update the sources, apt-get update, apt-get upgrade and reboot,
followed by apt-get dist-upgrade.

I upgraded from kernel 2.6.32-32 to 2.6.32-33 on my Lenovo IdeaPad
S10-3s and my touchpad keys stopped working. I was able to do clicks on
the touchpad, but not with the touchpad buttons. After booting 2.6.32-32
again, it worked.
