THANKS! This appears to have fixed the issue. I installed the backport module and that didn't fix it. I edited alsa-base and 'options snd-hda- intel' was missing all together so I just added 'options snd-hda-intel model=acer-aspire' and rebooted. Now all is good and those errors at boot time no lon
