Loading this package (MissingPy-0.10.0) produces "Segmentation fault"
error in both interpreted and compiled Haskell programs.
Easily reproducible by running this in Ubuntu Intrepid:
$ ghci
GHCi, version 6.8.2: http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ :? for help

Came here to report the same exact problem. After upgrading my Acer's
Ubuntu installation to Jaunty, the touchpad is not working at all, and,
attempting to use it will cause the keyboard to also stop from
functioning. The "Fn" key also does not work.

A workaround is to use 'sudo' (or login as root) to operate within the
non-writable directory.
I also noticed this, any file named 'desktop.ini' within the non-
writable directory is also non-writable, even though it has the 'w'
flag.
$ pwd
/media/data/My Document
Just now I upgraded to Karmic and the touchpad now works :)
