Just thought I should add that I had the same problem with crackling
sound and high CPU usage by pulseaudio after update to jaunty, until I
removed the tsched=0 line which fixed the problem.
My soundcard is a Via VT1708/A in an MSI laptop.

I have the same problem as Zeus, but I think it is filed under a
separate bug report already. It is an intermittent problem, that is
fixed by restarting the computer. It will eventually reoccur. I am
using an AR242x chip in a MSI VR321 laptop.

I can confirm this bug in a MSI VR 321 laptop with AR242x wifi chip.
I was running jaunty with a few backports installed, but have since
removed all backports and there has been no change. I then downloaded a
newer kernel from someone's link in another bug report, but it did not
fix the problem.
I recently upgraded to the latest stable f-spot 0.6.2 (compiled from
source) in order to get the facebook plugin to work. I am running
ubuntu jaunty, I previously did not have this bug, but now I do, it

on two different laptops with my waltop slim tablet, and had no luck.

The setting comes from the locale, but when you use the English locale,
you have the option to elect 12 or 24 hours clock. In almost every
country there are people who prefer one or the other time format, it
should be possible to choose in all locales, not only selected
countries.
