One use case that I see for it is when I am typing in my sudo password I
don't know if I put in too many letters. I often have to CTRL C to

Binary package hint: sendmail-cf
When I cd /etc/mail and do `make' I get this error:
make: *** No rule to make target `/usr/share/sendmail-cf/m4/cf.m4',
needed by `/etc/mail/databases'.
sendmail-cf _is_ installed but it appears to have the 'wrong' file
I added the tag HW-Specific due to it requires a duel monitor setup to
create. Not everyone is lucky enough to have duel monitors.

I apologize I must have missed that part of your comment that it
happened in other applications. I would agree with you. However I have a
suspicion that it is not caused by xorg but caused by the nvidia
drivers. This is easy to confirm try disabling the Nvidia Drivers to see
if the problem persists
