/etc/apt/sources.list but you haven't imported the OpenPGP key.
Launchpad ppa's now are signed so you can import a the OpenPGP key for
the ppas configured in your sources.list.

rewriting the code and make great improvements to gens

Evan, sorry for that. Since there the installation logs where attached I
followed https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/HowToTriage#Confirming and thought
it would be correct to confirm the bug.
The wiki says "Are there sufficient log files and crash dumps, as
outlined in DebuggingProcedures?". Sorry once
Looking at the attachments in this bug report, I noticed that an
attachment was not flagged as a patch. A patch contains changes to an
Ubuntu package that will resolve a bug and this attachment is one!
Subsequently, I've checked the patch flag for it. In the future when
submitting patches please us
Sync with Debian should be the better solution. As I said before I think
it would be good to have 1.9.x in Jaunty, it would make many translators
happy :). Maybe adding something to the package description saying its
still beta software would also be a good idea.

Pitfdll plugin are included in Ubuntu restricted extras. Who could we
ask about this?

Did some digging and the plugin is only active when installing the
w32codecs package from medibuntu. So The description is correct, having
ubuntu-restricted-extras installed does not allows you to use the
plugin.
