Bugs,
Possibly relevant, this install is actually a linux-kvm virtual machine
via libvirt/virtmanager.
I mention this because virt-manager adds additional input (virtual
tablet, maybe others)devices to the vm in order to implement 'seemless'
mouse mode between the vm's desktop and the host's desktop. I
Wow, this is retarded. Epically retarded.
Sorry guys, but all this back and forth arguing and the issue itself..
It really is retarded.
It's clear people want and *NEED* this feature. VNC is hardly in the
same ballpark as true remoteX. Ever tried to use remote GL calls under

specifics as to why someone would do this, it's come up a few times
where I've had to ie buggy application support, administration of
machines also acting as firewalls, etc)

Public bug reported:
When the system has ipv6 disabled outright, /usr/sbin/libvirtd still
tries to blindly disable accept_ra despite it's destined failure to open
/proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/virbr1/accept_ra. It does not continue past
this failure.
Expected behavior is that it should either attempt
