guys, I still have this issue on a debian 6 squeeze
how to solve it? can I use some PPA where this fix is pushed? can you
point me to the right repositories? I REALLY need the fix to deploy
guests on my bridged network

I endend up doing the same, I configured the bridge manually and
(risking to be a bit OT) if you try to setup BONDING at the same time

had this issue on 12.04 but after some sec it went away on vlc by let it
play the movie.
then on upgrade to 12.10 it became worse, it was always present and
although after a while disappeared any jump back (shift + left arrow)
made it come back.
fixed it by removing rtkit and restarting pulse, my
Linux Mint nadia 14 is also affected by this
