The same problem here. External TOURO Mobile 1TB disconnects and

I have the same issue running DELL Latitude D430 with Intel Mobile
945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller.
I can confirm, that SNA workaround fixes the issue.

The same issue here after upgrading to 12.10.
Please backport this fix. Without it indicator-weather is useless.
