Confirmed.
Experiensing about 10 second delay doing just ssh to my local home network's
router (ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED]). Commenting out GSSAPIAuthentication eliminated
the issue. Was VERY anniying.

to enable Kerberos security mechanism in the plugin. Sometimes Kerberos is an
only option in enterprise to connect to OCS.

With sync with 1.8.0 from Debian, the bug is not longer valid, as it where
applicable to 1.7.1-0ubuntu1 version only.
v1.8.0 has proper --with-krb5 configuration flag.

Slow cifs ubuntu 9.10
Figured out experimentally. It might be rather Nautilus issue than cifs
mount's.
If I copy file to the mounted share (via cifs, fstab) using Nautilus, I got
capped 2MB/sec upload. BUT
if do the copy via command line (terminal), I got nominal 7.5MB/sec !
Same file, same share, 3+ times faster.
