I don't seem to be able to reset the values in
/system/gstreamer/0.10/audio
They remain entirely blank and to not revert to defaults.
I ran this:
gconftool-2 -R /system/gstreamer/0.10/audio
and it returns this:
/system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/profiles:
/system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/profiles/voic
I don't seem to have a profile_list key to right click on.
Clicking on /system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/global/ shows me an empty pane.
The pane is also empty for:
/system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/profiles/voicelossless
/system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/profiles/cdlossless
/system/gstreamer/0.10/audio/profile
Can anyone comment on any regression issues with the latest kernel
release (2.6.32-25)? I pulled in the latest Alsa drivers (see David's
post from 9-2-2010); however then I get no sound or mic. I removed the
latest Alsa drivers and I got my sound back but without a working mic.
Everything worked
The problem no longer seems to occur in Lucid as far as I can tell (I've
tried disabling and re-enabling compiz multiple times to try and trigger
it).
I haven't tested with an upstream kernel yet but I'll let you know how
it goes.

Just tested with the latest daily mainline kernel and no issues so far
so I've removed that tag.

This no longer crashes after an upgrade to Trusty. However, the
CopyAgent indicator menu now becomes corrupt soon after loading and can
not be used.

I also attached gdb to it and did a bt after I clicked it and it
crashed. I'm not too familiar with bt, nor am I running aversion of
xfce4-indicator-plugin with debugging symbols, but hopefully it's some
help.
