ran until showing a dialog where I clicked "Send". Then nothing more

I use two external monitors with my Lenovo Thinkpad t430s sitting in a
Lenovo docking station. The external monitors are connected through DVI
and DisplayPort to the docking station. I see the problem both when
using Wayland and Xorg. The laptop lid is closed and the internal screen
is not used whe

This problem is also showing it self on Mozilla Thunderbird. It's nearly
impossible to grab the scrollbar handle for the message list using a
laptop touchpad.

Has the fixed version reached the Ubuntu 15.10 repos? I still see this
kind of crash running xserver-xorg-video-intel version
2.99.917+git20150808-0ubuntu4 which I believe is the latest available
one from the apt repos.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have however not enabled the mainline PPA
(yet).
This morning was the first, since the upgrade to Ubuntu 18.10, time that
both monitors worked directly after booting into Xorg. The kernel in use
was linux-image-4.18.0-14-generic (now upgraded to linux-
image-4.18.0-15-
Seeing this on each startup as well. The log looks like that posted in
comment 10.
