[Bug 66582] Re: Amarok: only /media/ and /home/ allowed for collection

The reason is the /.hidden file (actually a link to /etc/kubuntu- default-settings/hidden-root) which contains among others 'mnt', which is thus hidden in KDE's file/dir dialogs. The standard KDE file dialog has the option to show hidden files, but amarok's collection dialog doesn't have this opti

I just had a look at valgrind's changelog. Callgrind is part of valgrind since version 3.2.0 (current version in Edgy is 1:3.2.0-2ubuntu3). Thus the valgrind-callgrind package should be dropped from the repository and removed from the Recommends of kcachegrind. See http://valgrind.org/docs/manual

Felix, there is a problem with gdialog which your patch from comment #15 enables. I am able to configure everything when using gdialog, but there is no way to cancel it. Pressing 'cancel', or escape, nothing helps. I would just disable the GUI dialog completly. But this is someone's else decision.

The problem is that poppler on Ubuntu is build without Cairo support (a result of bug #61161) und uses the splash backend. splash does not support anti-alising (which is probably the reason why it's much faster) and upstream already made clear that this will not change, see https://bugs.freedesktop
