Hi,
after my recent update to 14.04, copying files to a ssh-mounted device,
my system becomes unusable for the copying time. After the file/s are
copied, the system behaves normal. If I copy large file/s, from time to
time the system becomes responsive. So e.g. opening a term

for the python tests is already running when the modified start-stop-
agent script is called so it was still started without debug quick

exactly like in my productive system. Then i made a do-release-upgrade and the
same error occurred.
I done the slapcat from the productive server for all 3 LDAP-DBs and putted all
3 *.
thx again ... as i see the patch only manage some stuff for dealing with the
directories while upgrading. So i think i don´t need it at all.

I have a similar issue with the nouveau drivers. I have an XPS M1710 and
the built-in display is detected properly, but the secondary monitor is
not. (The Nvidia binary driver detects it properly). dmesg output is
similar, but the invalid edid is even more suspicious looking:

I just want to say that when I drag the mouse across the global menu I'm
not doing it fast. Also, if I drag the mouse very slow it seems to work
fine, but I would have to drag it much too slow to be productive.

Following a number of experiments with pps and ppt files, I have found
the following:
1. Opening a pps file in edit mode (ppt), shows a blank field for
"Sound" under the Slide Transition tab.
2. Using a ppt file, I can specify a sound file in the Slide Transition
Tab in LibreOffice Impress 3.3

php5-fpm will crash and leave non-working child processes hanging around
that will block any recovery until they are killed off manually.
This is because php5-fpm does not handle SIGHUP. It results in an

After upgrading to LUbuntu 13.10, gnome-keyring-daemon (from the package
gnome-keyring-3.8.2-0ubuntu3) was no longer started .
Asking around in IRC suggested that the correct solution to the problem
would be to upstartify gnome-keyring-daemon.

character. When trying to run an unconfined container, this causes
comparisons with the "unconfined" string in the source code to fail, and
