Hmm, unfortunately I only have the last 7 days of syslog -- so I can not see
what the problem was on the 15th Oct.
Is there anything in the report than can help you? If not, might make sense

i also had 13 unread messages, however the problem was solved by using
the 'folder-compact' process and it showed a lot of messages which i had
read earlier and deleted it but some how showed up again! this has been

Thank Daniel, I have changed the resolution from 3840 x 2160 to 1920 x
1080 and it works fine. I guess the issue is with the nvidia driver and
somehow its not getting loaded and now I switched to intel via `prime-
select intel`.

access and change settings of BIOS. Also it is recognising bootable USB
drive(with Windows OS). Have not yet changed from Ubuntu, later will

Murali has tried with 4.4 kernel as well and even that kernel has Cu device
ID's. Can we not just pull in the latest kernel patch which is 4.13.

The same problem occurs with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
Cold-boot, particularly, this seems to fail.
Basically the problem is that usb_modeswitch_dispatcher is called with
incorrect arguments.
