after switching from VirtualBox to real hardware, the good old
ATI-Backclear-Bug appears. Doing nice things as searching for another linux
distribution i decided to give lucid a chance. As described in the artikle
below i downloaded patch and the actual X server and patched it folloing

If it is a leak then dont worry about it in the start of your computer. I check
this back with my Computer. Depending on th number of open windows and their
size, Xorg take between 100 and 200 M at Start. When these Value is nearly the
same +/- 20-30M after a few hours, i think you dont have

pcmanfm-qt crashed with SIGSEGV
To manage notifications a
0.9.0+20150723-1 -- if one would have a look back one will see that this
is one of the very first versions of the package - i guess we created
that one in Heidelberg at the Debconf. So it is all but not stable nor
supported. If Ubuntu have it in it's LTS repos - bad luck. Shouldn't be
there :)

The user config should work fine, once set to jpg - for the depth of the
problem just follow the debian bug: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=893809 - that will lead you to the relevant
upstream things.
To make it short: 1.97 will not be fixed unless someone stand up and
spend ti
To put it straight: A "cross upgrade" from LXDE to LXQt is not
recommended (with my upstream and debian hat on) - the result will be a
nice "Franken-LXQt". Please keep in mind that both LXDE and LXQt are
working with alternative in the packaging - so misc applications can
fulfill several dependenci
Anyways - one can consider all libfm-qt and pcmanfm-qt bugs for versions
< 0.13 not relevant for cosmic - libfm-qt and pcmanfm-qt got heavy
modifications for 0.13 so most of the 0.12.0 bugs are not relevant for
cosmic (massive parts of libfm-qt are rewritten in c++ and don't use the
old libfm stuff
importance can be lowered - fixed in 0.13.0

no, not really - but i know that we will release within the next day(s).
So we could consider the behaviour as _not so nice_, but i wouldn't
spend any time on it.

network, trash and mounts on desktop - LXQt don't provide these things
at all right now
