amixer shows only 'Mic' 'Internal Mic' 'Line In' as possible Input Sources.
alsamixer also allows only these three options.
And gnome volume control (pulseaudo, I guess) too.
So I have to plug-in my mic to laptop instead of dock if I want to use
microphone (e.g. for skype).

Well, it's phantom, but it's not 'Dock Mic'.
I can choose it, but not there is no sound. Choosing other options I receive
sound from built-in mic and mic jack on laptop's body.

Ubuntu LTS has special policy for some programs (e.g. Firefox) to
upgrade them. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and have latest stable Firefox. So
this is not a problem.

I've wired interface with 802.1x TLS security enabled.
Every time I undock and then dock may laptop, NM asks me for private key for
this connection.
It doesn't actually forget key, because if I simply relogin it will perfectly
connect using my private key.
