After a fresh install from 11.04 to 12.10 I can no longer use Super+U,

I assume this is caused by the shortcuts overlay. Disabling it in CCSM

This bug is not icon theme or artwork related, but rather related to
LXpanel.
Following was tested:
*) Several different icon themes & LXpanel => same bug.
*) Several different icon themes & Xfce4-panel => no bug.

I have no idea to be honest, but possibly in the beta stage as the
slideshow isn't very crucial.

There's actually nothing about Xpad in the new slides, nor any other
note-application. But I'm marking this as 'Fix Commited' as I've taken
Lars' suggestion of mentioning applications that are suitable for
Lubuntu and I've also updated the outdated (12.04) texts.

Bug is Dropbox related, but has a workaround...
For some reason Dropbox is force using 16px panel icons. By placing
.png's with desired size in your icon themes .../panel/16/.
Please note that .svg icons won't give you the desired result.

This bug might be obsolete now (as it was reported a while back).
In Lubuntu 11.10, which uses Piding 2.10.0, this behaviour can be
achieved by enabling 'Show system tray icon: Always' inside

Marked as 'Opinion' as it's not a bug.
If a themed cursor does not result in a change in performance or
stability, this could become reality in a future release of Lubuntu.
Thanks for bringing your thoughts to our attention.

Agree, this should be fixed. Ideally, this should also be applied (if

This has to do with LXpanel, it does not handle svg-files correctly.
22x22 svg-icons get scaled down, probably to 16x16.
Please try replacing a 22x22 svg-icon with a 22x22 png-icon and you will see
the difference.

I could not reproduce my work-around by placing png-icons inside

Annoying but indeed.
@ psl (slansky):
The following line will make you able to switch between US and CZ layout
by using Alt+Shift:
setxkbmap -layout "us,cz" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"
You can add it to /etc/xdg/lxsession/Lubuntu/autostart for a system wide

True Michael, it does, and there will be even more in the future (as
people start following the Gnome 3 design). Elementary Icons will
include symbolic icons in their upcoming release[1], however, we're not
sure if they will be ready for 12.04. Thus we will most likely have to

It seems to be icon theme related, since it seems to apply to Transmission as

I have not tried another icon theme, but I have included a screenshot.
The problem is purely cosmetic.
