I've got the same problem here. The version is 2.1.2-2ubuntu1. Going
by the file stamps, this is the first time I've tried to fire it up
since 19th March 2006, when it worked fine. I'm not sure exactly how
I'd go about finding out what version I had installed then, but I do
keep everything fairl
Further info: I've just installed glabels fresh on another Dapper
machine, and this bug doesn't show up. Also, removing and reinstalling
glabels on the original machine doesn't help.

I've got what sounds like the same problem, except it freezes on opening
rather during use, which makes evolution unusable. A backtrace is
attached; to get it I launched evolution and waited for 5 minutes to try
to rule out performance as a problem. If you look at thread 12, to my
untutored eye it
Further info, just in case: my system is exactly as described in the bug
report.

I see the same problem, and I'm not behind a proxy of any sort. It looks
like the downloader is timing out too soon. Here's the full output:

On a relatively fresh Oneiric install, I pressed the Win key to bring up
the application menu. I selected "Media apps", chose "Graphics" from the
right-hand list, then selected Dia from the list of installable apps.

I installed 32-bit Maverick Desktop edition on my Asus 1005P (mainly
because I can't stand Unity in its current form, but that's another
story...). The volume keys work, the brightness keys don't. Not only
that, but I can't see where to get the eeepc-laptop module from.
