This is one of the problems that made me upgrade to intrepid, clean
install this time (except for the /home partition). Inttrepid has not
the problem with USB mounting. Maybe this bug manifests only after
gutsy-->hardy upgrade, i really don't know. Didn't try clean install of
hardy.

It is bugged out of the box...
Maybe I'm wrong, but it happened on my machine on the fresh install and also
after upgrading from feisty.
All I have to do is start nautilus from "Places" menu on the secondary screen
and then close it.
Or log off one of the users. Simple as that: start/close or log
I applied the update last night and it works for now: no more hanging (and high
CPU usage) nautilus when opened & closed on secondary screen.
As for sudo nautilus, usually I don't do that, but here is the result: upon
closing I get "Segmentation fault (core dumped)".
But nautilus doesn't get hung
The same thing happened here. But my biggest problem was logging off another
user or closing nautilus on the secondary screen.
Fixing /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default solved the first problem, and this update
seems to have fixed the other. I never had the problem with large
nautilus-debug-log.txt

It's not so complicated for me: all I have to do is open nautilus on the
secondary screen (LCD TV) and close it - it remains among the other processes
with 100% CPU usage. Usually there are two users logged on on the machine and
no one can logout without nautilus to go wild :-)

How to apply the patch?
I downloaded nautilus source, patched it, run .config and make and everything
went ok. Tried starting built version without installing and there is no
button? I checked both files in source and they are patched. Or it needs to be
installed to work?

I found today another feature: two users logged on, user A clicked "Switch
User", GDM appears, selected user B, entered pass, clicked ok and got returned
to the same session, the one of user A :-)
Tried the same again and this time session from user B crashed and got thrown
back to GDM.

When I open Dash for the first time after computer is booted, it takes
around 6-7 seconds before search results start to appear in Dash. I get
every result really fast except applications. Application scopes are
really slow. This happend in all earlier releases.

In Ubuntu 14.04 I can't change resolution or refresh rate using nvidia-settings
(have no problems while doing this from "Displays").
When I click "Apply" nvidia-settings crash so I opened it in terminal and got

No need to test, everything is ok. After every Ubuntu installation I had
to disable irqbalance to make my keyboard and mouse work. I believe this
was fixed in 12.10 if I'm not wrong. But nevermind, currently I'm using
13.04 and everything is ok.

I think best solution for this would be to automatically populate
application lens after login, but in background, so when user wants to
use dash he will have full list of applications, loaded for him. I have
feeling, when I click on application lens, then it starts to search for

thaz was my idea too, but I don't know how to install 173 nvidia drivers
since they are not offered in "Additional drivers" dialog. I can see
only the newest. Is there a way for doing this by terminal?
