** Description changed:
What happens:
In Nautilus, when creating two folders an error occurs, preventing creation

Steps to reproduce:

Sebastien, that I do not know.
But then again, how many users actually change standard keybindings? And how
many average, non-tech savvy users do? If safety reasons are taken into
account, why only two (apparently) keyboard shortcuts are omitted, not more of

I see and understand that there are probably more.
What I do not understand is why allowing full configurability isn't desired,
especially that it shouldn't prove to be dangerous and/or difficult for users
(the new ones usually don't tamper with configuration panels at all).

The attached video apparently has weird colours (perhaps a problem of Desktop

It show how I create three pairs of folders, and each time get an error. Please
refer to it as a step-by-step guide on how to reproduce.
Adnotation: while
Buttons disappearing happens very often with LibreOffice suite and
Pidgin. The only way to navigate to windows affected is by minimizing
those in foreground. Launcher icon stays, but doesn't allow to show said
windows.

I have the same issue as described by previous posters, in fact I use the same
work-around as marc-heinz. This bug must have come from a long negligence since
it truly is as old as Unity itself.
It occured to me when using 11.04 (clean install), 11.10 (both clean and

I can hardly concur. On small screens it could easily lead to Nautilus'
interface clutter, besides, one cannot be sure if it would really make
it easier for _everyone_, not just for those who have gotten used to the
idea they presented.
In my opinion, this idea could be implemented as an option in
