The problem persists and I'm not sure why a log is needed for changing the keyboard layout that is installed with the OS. It's not that the installation makes an error during installation of the layout. It just installs a keyboard layout that is not user-friendly for the locale. -- You received t

Hm that doesn't make sense, neither as a feature nor in terms of the UI string. As a feature it doesn't make sense because - should I want the pages in a different order - I can do that once it's a PDF. In terms of the UI string, if that's what it means, certainly the current wording would not make

Yes I gathered that while the label on Chrome/Chromium say OpenSource, that's only a veneer. The thing I find most upsetting about this is that Canonical keeps all these closed/outdated projects on Launchpad (even ignoring the lack of committing work done on Launchpad to upstream projects). There

It's on a physical device, Aquaris E4.5 with the UI set to Gaelic (gd- GB), 15.04 OTA 12. There is something weird about the localized UI I just realized. If I set it to German (Germany), those 4 locales are showing in German (i.e. Uigurisch (China), Asturianisch (Spanien) etc) whereas the others

To clarify, German is showing a mix. It has Asturianisch (Spanien) Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesia) Bahasa Melayu (Malaysia) Bosanski (Bosna i Hercegovina) Brezhoneg (Frañs) Which disproves Gunnar's theory because (assuming the German team is as efficient as elsewhere), I would expect them to have c

[Bug 1615374] Re: Some locales are showing ISO codes instead of names

I can't believe that to be the case. That would mean that German would have had to localize Uyghur, Occitan, Asturian and Scots Gaelic but NOT Spanish, French, Chinese etc. Unless you are suggesting that somewhere in those files is the native_name and native_country which Touch pulls when building
