definitely something a bit odd about how KDE4 handles cursor themes, as
I have the same problem in KDE4 of setting a different cursor theme and
the oxygen cursors still being used sometimes instead.

On my Hardy server I find the output of "ldd /bin/bash" is different
depending on which kernel I use, so I think it might be an issue with
linux-image-xen. Booting the kernel provided by linux-image-xen I get:
ldd /bin/bash
linux-gate.so.1 => (0xf57fe000)
libncurses.so.5 => /lib/

TEST CASE: Open Dolphin and navigate to a folder with .html or .xml

It's not been fixed in Intrepid because according to Riddell we don't
need it for Intrepid since it'll switch to KDE4. I assume since Kubuntu
Intrepid will be KDE4 by default, there's no point keeping KDE3 and KDE4
versions of Dolphin around, so the KDE3 version (this package) will be
dropped.

I can confirm that disabling that patch does seem to fix the issue.
I've made some debs on my PPA with the patch disabled for Intrepid, and
if I install the xserver-xorg-core deb from my PPA (on a Kubuntu
Intrepid live CD) and restart X it gets rid of the video garbage I
normally get when right cli

The pyqtconfig module imports without error from the python interpreter
on a Gutsy live CD, so I think this was fixed at some time. Probably by
this new release of python-qt3 11 days after this bug was reported which

and kdesu.distrib I can do this, and it works to open a file in a folder
that has spaces in the name:

I've tried this patch on hardy alpha 5 and it doesn't fix it for me.
