Binary package hint: libjson-ruby
This package only includes the pure ruby implementation of json. If you
check http://json.rubyforge.org/, there is also a C version which is
faster and has more features. Perhaps we should have a libjson-pure-

I personally don't have a problem enabling dontzap by default, but there
should be a way to disable it. A patch to the actual server should just
change the default value of the option from false to true, leaving the
option usable in xorg.conf.
Once a decision is made, I'd be happy to attempt a pa

/etc/xinetd.conf for /etc/xinetd.d/.
I would be willing to try taking on that task, which would be a help for
all inetd-dependent packages. Any input here?

Looking at other packages, such as pure-ftpd, I've determined that the
default in ubuntu is to use openbsd-inetd. That is managed by the
update-inetd script (from the package of the same name) -- basically
