As you can see from my graph only compiz regressed but not mutter or unity 2d.
The fps that I get look like compiz is doing fullscreen updates instead

The problem occurs for me while I wasn't using my computer. Gnome put the
monitor into standby.
After moving my mouse the screen came back but it was like frozen. I could
click on a launcher but it showed no reaction.
Then I switched to tty1 and back to graphical desktop and the screen was alive

No, booting into an older Kernel (3.5.0-16-generic) didn't solve the problem.
Worth noting is that it seems if I disable the following line in

So I have tested the new kernel.

I build up my new system and thought it would be a good idea to install ubuntu

Maybe a possible regression. I have noticed that the slow windows bug
has reappeared. I have tested this on my intel graphics system. I think

If I print the pdf with acrobat reader, everything gets printed.
So it could be that the issue is somewhere else in the printing stack.
