It seems that you are trying to open .pdf files with a media player.
You can change this by going to nautilus, then right click on some .pdf file go
to properties, go to open with tab and then select 'evince' as the default
Marked as invalid because it seems a little problem in 'open with' settings
happen by mistake.

I have installed the maverick fonts i.e. ttf-ubuntu-font-family in my lucid 64
bit.
i can do ctrl+shift+u20b9 in xchat,abiword,gedit, web browser to type India
Rupee symbol - ₹
But this is not working in open office

i removed it.
After that kde messed some stuff in my ubuntu e.g. mouse icons etc.
So to get back my gnome i followed instructions on this page:

In my case when I come her on launchpad to file a bug using firefox, then I
need to upload debug.txt.
But it is not allowing me to click on that debug.txt which was in my
/home/username. it keep opening another folder adn wrong file.
After that I shift my debug.txt from /home/username to /home/us
This happends with me. After I logout and logint then 'sometime's issue solves
but not each time.
I am usbing Ubuntu Lucidy Lynx 10.04 64bit.

I have success in reproducing this bug on my Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 (64
bit).
Lernid even dont come to know that it has been disconnected from net.
When i click on reresh icon(that two blue arrows) then also it dont connect.
I need to close it and run new instance for it.
