Excellent, this patch works fine on my SVT1112S1RS, so it should fix
usb2 issue on all Sony Vaio SVT ultrabooks without breaking anything
else. I hope that it will be added to the main Trusty kernel soon.

+1. This report contains many information about a bug and many people
having this issue are subscribed to it. There is no reason to open

Patch for resolving this bug was successfully backported to lts kernels
3.12 and 3.14. And only version 3.13, which is maintained by Ubuntu does
not have it. Is it so hard to apply it?

+1. Nothing happens when you plug devices into the USB 2 port.
I've tried to check if there is any low level activity like usb
interrupts or packet transmissions, and found nothing. Port is
definitely powered. In preinstalled win8 this port worked fine, and in
uefi bios it works too. Problem start
I've tried that, but it doesn't help. I don't think, that it is a power

This issue exist in Debian 6 with kernel 2.6.32. I haven't tested older

I've rebuilt kernel with CONFIG_DEBUG_DRIVER, CONFIG_USB_DEBUG and

need to make some extra actions to make dmesg more informative?

There is also missing rtl8761bu firmware. Support for this bluetooth
