Yes, it happens with the "My Top Rated" list. Trying it out a bit, I
also had the following result, which is generally the same. It does seem
to be some kind of timing issue, so it might help to have more numbers
in your automatic list (you can also just create one which includes all
your music).
This has been packaged under the name boswars(-data) and has been
excepted into (at least) Ubuntu Hardy.

I got this problem after removing samba. I think it may be a problem
that libpam-smbpass depends on samba without that being defined. You can
remove samba, leave samba-common and libpam-smbpass and you will have
this problem. Stupid thing is that every sudo fails also, so removing
the libpam-smbpas
Just adding, telinit doesn't work because you need to be root. To solve this, I
used the following:
- Reboot and choose the "recovery mode" from the boot selection menu
- Choose "drop into root shell" from the recovery menu
- Execute the command: dpkg --purge libpam-smbpass

I have already supplied an Ubuntu package and it made it into gutsy, but
was quickly released of it's duty by the debian games packaging team, so
I consider this bug fixed.
Currently the boswars team is working on reviewing patches for the
graphics and that might set of a new packaging request, bu
csdemo comes from the crystalspace package and the data needed for this demo
comes from crystalspace-data.
However, crystalspace-data is out of date (0.98) so the csdemo.zip file is out
of date if you install it without any further checking.
If you combine these two versions running csdemo with

My new SlimStar 310 keyboard has some keys are not registered. There needs to
be a new keyboard layout, along with some setkeycodes to get the kernel to

Most problems with keys are actually caused by the USB to PS2 converter
which comes with the product. Using the keyboard via it's USB connector
will only leave one multimedia key unusable and that is a key with
"[Ex]" above it (not sure what the function might be).

shadows using the Shadow windows configuration. The default value is
"any" but changing this to anything else does not have any effect on the

I've just discovered the weirdest thing, using "any & !(class=Gnome-
panel)" works as expected: shadows except on the Gnome-panel. Using "any
& !any" seems to have the same effect: shadows except on the Gnome-

Reading the code [1, line 766], it seems I am just misunderstanding the
option. It seems you can only disable shadows on windows which have no
decoration in the first place. Hence the shadow on the panel is effected
while other shadows are not.
One bug still remains and that is that using an empty
I consider this a "Won't fix" as Compiz is being rewritten in C++. The
option is unclear about only applying to windows without a decoration,
it's description and form will have to be evaluated with the next Compiz
release.
