The guide posted above using ndiswrapper worked but it took forever. Will the logs/files requested be faulty now? Should I save Ubuntu and then reinstall to post the logs/files or can I post them with the adapter working with ndiswrapper? I am very interested in helping get this problem fixed for

I am using Ubuntu 64-bit, and I was told that it was better, faster, and more secure and that drivers were not a problem. And now I found find out that it is a problem?!??? I still don't understand why you guys took out Linksys wireless support since Ubuntu 7.10 it doesn't make any sence at all. D

This bug is definitely not fixed. Recently installed 11.10 beta 1, and immediately updated and updated everything, as that's my usual course of action when installing Ubuntu.
