Bah, tecnically you can open a tty open with nano the file /var/log/syslog and
save it to a usb, bat as this issue seems fixed. probably it was just something
not reproducible.

You have to open a terminal and type, for the video player problem
ubuntu-bug totem
and it will start all the automatic procedure, in the description field
