The case of the zoom drop-down is probably an ooo-build issue since
upstream doesn't even have a drop-down for it pops up a dialog for you
to select from.

I guess the real question is:
Does anything still accidentally put /usr/bin/X11 into the PATH or is it
just a user misconfiguration issue? If anything still puts /usr/bin/X11
into the PATH then that needs to be corrected since it is just a symlink
for backwards compatibility for old scripts.

The only thing on my system that still sets the PATH incorrectly appears
to be gdm and that normally is overridden. So I am reassigning this bug
to gdm.

Reassigned to nautilus to have someone on the desktop team more familiar
with this topic to determine what should be done. Since no programs seem
to setup templates for use properly perhaps there is a reason this has
been done this way?

Just read some of the old comments in this thread. Yes, copying files
into the users home directory probably should not be done. Perhaps
extending Nautilus to read something like /usr/share/templates and then
manage that directory closely so it doesn't become a mess for the
average install of Ubunt

Yes, 3.0.1 will be what ships in Jaunty. As you will notice in their
release schedule that you posted they claim to be targeting March 29
which is already after our Beta release. However they generally slip
about 6 weeks from their original scheduled release date, which would
