Although I didn't share on the bug report earlier, I have already tried the
base version and updates for Jammy and have been consistently hitting this
issue in the following versions:
jammy mainupdates 1:2.6.1-1ubuntu1.2

I have found the same issue. In Ubuntu 24.04 LTS under Wayland, with my
main (laptop) monitor at 200%, and an external display at 100%, if I
open a window (e.g. a terminal in the 200% monitor), the moment I click
anywhere else, the window gets resized to half the size.

I have also made a few more observations but one of the key observations that
can be easily reproduced on any filesystem is that with the jammy versions, the
number of `statx` calls have drastically gone up. Additionally, for each
export, the number of statx calls is somewhat proportional to the
Submitter not responding. Issue seems to have been fixed per #11.
