I would probably try the latest available stable v6.8 version, so
v6.8.12. It might be worth a shot to try the most recent stable mainline

Booting with snd-hda-intel.snoop=0 solves the issue for HDMI/DP audio

returns no algorithms. This is caused by openvpn not loading the FIPS OpenSSL
