I was looking for a picture to send, navigated to the /Pictures/ folder, tried
to open a folder where the picture was located and nautilus crashes, tried
using from terminal with the same results.
The folder has only one jpg pic in it.

I believe the option to make such customization should be happening up-
front, during the installation, so that presumably the OS could have the
preferred format "hard-coded" so that there isn't overhead at every
usage to generate the customized date/time reporting.

Hi Raymond, thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately I'm unable to
recreate this with a recent iso build.
Could you detail which ISO build you're encountering this on by getting
the contents of "/.disk/info" , please?
Currently the daily build shows 08/08/2024 is the latest build and I
see:

Remove this package from Oracular.
We provide a solution for hotplugging[0] and this package is currently
undergoing a lot of development work, so should be included once more
stable. If we keep it in, it's almost guaranteed SRUs will be needed.

I just want to make it clear - the noble package should stay in
proposed. There is no need to create an unnecessary update for the users
for dep8 test additions and an update to debian/watch. This can be
included in a bug update or security update.
